Jordan Bam I Will Walk

Jordan was born on the 5th of January 2018, his entry into the world marked by a tumultuous struggle for survival. Emergency C-section, fetal distress, a stroke, and oxygen deprivation—these were the harsh realities that greeted him at birth. His tiny form battled against odds that would have felled many, spending his first 21 days in the NICU before we finally took him home.

But the signs were there, even then, subtle whispers that something was amiss despite assurances from doctors that it was simply the premature birth affecting him. It took five long months of pleading with our pediatrician before Jordan received an MRI. And that's when our lives changed forever.

Hypoplasia of the corpus callosum—a term that carried with it the weight of a thousand mountains. The very core of his brain, the bridge between left and right, lay underdeveloped, a silent obstacle that would shape every aspect of his life.
