Josh Carter Cancer Battle

Josh is a super special person that deserves all the assistance possible to overcome the challenge he is facing!

His battle with cancer began with what felt like a chest infection after a session of volunteering to teach underprivileged kids in Cape Town how to surf. Josh’s symptoms of daily decreasing lung capacity, energy, and strength forced further investigation.

In May 2022 Josh was diagnosed with stage four large B-cell lymphoma and his official battle with cancer began.

Unfortunately 36 doses of intravenous chemotherapy, 3 months of oral chemo, and 5 rounds of radiation did not yield the results the doctors had hoped for. Their diagnosis was that there was nothing more they could do. He was told to go and be with his loved ones.

This was a shock but in some sense also a massive relief as the treatment had taken its toll on his body. Being the warrior he is, without hesitation, he committed himself to carry on fighting
