Josua's Lymphoma diagnoses
Josua is a sweet, kind and extremely shy 7 year old boy, with a heart of gold. He is adventurous and enjoys the outdoors while exploring nature. He has a great sense of humor, he is always laughing and making jokes.
What started out as a little bump on the right side of his neck soon brought our worst nightmare to realization. During the December holidays Josua and his brother went to visit their grandparents for a week on their farm, when they came home on the 30th of December we noticed a bump on the side of his neck and immediately made a doctor's appointment where he was prescribed some broad-spectrum antibiotics as he had an infection in his gum, which led the doctor to believe he had a swollen lymph-node due to the infection. After a week neither the infection, nor the bump went away and we returned to the doctor where they noticed 2 holes in his teeth, it was recommended by the doctor that the teeth be removed by a dentist and a stronger antibiotic was prescribed.
