Our Healing Journey story:
To our village, both known and unknown,
In September 2024, our brave 5-year-old Jules began experiencing severe back pain. On October 3rd, our lives changed when an MRI revealed a rare, large spinal tumor. She underwent major surgery on October 15th—6.5 hours long—with a risk of paralysis. Miraculously, Jules woke up moving all her limbs, bringing us all tears (including her doctors). A week in PICU followed as she relearned to walk with the help of intensive neurophysiotherapy.
