Born prematurely at 32 weeks, Julie entered this world facing more obstacles than most. By the time she was 11 months old, another devastating blow struck her family: the loss of her father to suicide. Left as a single mother to Julie and expecting a second child, Julie’s mother had her hands full, navigating through grief, financial strains, and the inherent challenges of raising a special needs child.
