URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR OUR LITTLE BOY, JUVÁN 💔
It is incredibly difficult for us as parents to write this, but today we are reaching out with humble hearts and asking for help for our precious son, Juván.
Juván has been fighting for his life since he was only a few weeks old. He suffers from a rare and severe autoimmune disease called Autoimmune Enteropathy, where his immune system attacks the lining of his small intestine and prevents his body from absorbing the nutrients he needs to survive.
Because of this, Juván has endured numerous hospital admissions and more than 20 procedures for feeding and central lines. He has depended on TPN (nutrition given through a line directly into his bloodstream) just to stay alive.
During one of the most critical moments of his journey, Juván’s tiny body went into cardiac arrest while doctors were trying to intubate him so he could be placed on a ventilator. He needed CPR to bring him back.
