Kadin found his love for rugby long before he ever had the chance to play it.

When he was just a little boy at a night market, he picked up a rugby ball — and from that moment on it became his favourite thing in the world. For years he carried a rugby ball everywhere, passing it, running with it, and dreaming about the day he would finally get to play the game properly.

That opportunity only came when Kadin reached Grade 4.

From the moment he stepped onto the rugby field for the first time, something just clicked. The passion he had built up for years finally had a place to grow.

Kadin first played rugby for Forests View Primary School and Villagers Rugby Club, where he began developing his strength and confidence in the game. Today he proudly plays number 8 for the U13 team at Amanzimtoti Primary School.
