For my Dad, Leon, and my Mom, Brenda, it was not just water that flowed through the lodge — it was 30 years of dreams, sacrifices, and hard work being washed away before their eyes. Every memory was something built with love and perseverance.

To see everything they lived and worked for threatened and destroyed in one single night has left a pain that words can hardly carry. Yet they are still standing — tired, heartbroken. The loss is great, but their spirit and faith remain stronger than the waters that came.
