Raising Funds for Karin

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Aimee van der Haar, and I wanted to share something close to my heart with all of you. I am reaching out to seek your support for my incredible mom, Karin. She is truly a remarkable human being who is currently facing a challenging health situation.

In May 2023, we received the devastating news that my mom has been diagnosed with Uterine Carcinoma, a form of cancer affecting the lining of her uterus. To alleviate the pain and discomfort she was experiencing, she underwent a DNC procedure on the 29th of May. Although the procedure was successful, the bleeding and pain did not subside as we had hoped. In fact, they intensified, causing immense concern for our family.

The doctor, understandably, wanted to wait for the test results from the DNC before considering any further operations. However, due to the persistent bleeding even with medication, an emergency hysterotomy has now become a necessity.
