Kayla’s Wildlife Photography Dream ~ One Lens Away

From the time she was very young, Kayla almost always had a small point-and-shoot camera in her hands. What started as simple curiosity quickly became something much more. Even as a child, she showed a remarkable eye for capturing moments, especially the quiet, beautiful moments found in nature.

Over the years, that curiosity grew into a true passion for wildlife photography. She doesn’t just take photos; she captures the quiet, soulful heartbeat of the African bush and the beauty of wildlife in its natural environment.

In 2024, Kayla completed her studies at The Open Window Institute for Creative Arts, where she worked incredibly hard to develop her creative voice and photographic skills. During her studies, she had the wonderful opportunity to hire and use professional equipment through Sony for her projects (as seen in the picture). One of those pieces of equipment was the incredible Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens, a lens designed specifically for capturing wildlife from a respectful distance while preserving the authenticity of the moment.
