Keean was born a Tof - Tetralogy of fallot, meaning he was born with a hole in his heart, On 11th old he got very sick and had to be hospitalized at Sunninghill Hospital, 3 days in, and while he was under sedation, Keean had a stroke, a blood clot went though the hole in is heart, straight to the right hemisphere of Keean's Brain, effecting his whole left-side, his first open heart surgery was done just after his recovery from the stroke just over 1 year old, his under developed pulmonary valve was also removed.

He was treated for the stroke and his recovery was long and hard and full of challenges, he had to undergo Physiotherapy and occupation therapy, he is turning 5 years old now and on his last checkup the doctors notified us that there is a problem with his right ventricle (hart chamber) and that they need to operate and fit in a artificial heart valve to stop the right ventricle from expanding due to the heart pressure.
