Keean Claase was born with TOF (Tetralogy Of Fallot) meaning he was born with a hole in his heart, at 11 months in ICU he had a stroke due to covid and Bocavirus, a small clot went through his heart into his brain causing the stroke, he was under sedation at the time, only to find out 3 days later he had a stroke, it was devastating news.
He was treated for the stroke and in the same year he had to go for his open heart surgery, his recovery was long and hard and full of challenges, he had to undergo Physiotherapy and occupation therapy, he is 4 years old now and on his last checkup the doctors notified us that there is a problem with his right ventricle (hart chamber) and that they need to operate and fit in a artificial heart valve to stop the right ventricle from expanding due to the heart pressure.
With al the medical cost that is still in arears from the last operation the new added cost for the new operation will be financially devastating to us, as we could not afford it financially to get the help Keean needs and he needs to be in hospital for at least 3-4 week...
