A Community Rising When Leadership Falls.

Edenvale is a beautiful part of Johannesburg. It’s where many of us live, work, raise our families, and build our dreams. But lately — like so many areas in Gauteng — our streets, parks, and public spaces are falling into neglect.

The reality is clear for everyone to see:
Overflowing rubbish. Uncut grass. Dirty pavements.
What used to be clean and cared for now feels forgotten.

This isn’t because the people of Edenvale don’t care.
It’s because our local municipalities — crippled by years of poor governance, mismanagement, and lack of service delivery — are failing us.

But where leadership fails, community steps up.

That’s why I’m starting a local clean-up campaign to help restore pride and beauty to our neighbourhood. This is not about politics — it’s about action. It’s about ordinary people doing what they can to make a difference.
