Keep the Kindness Alive!

My name is Kelly-Ann Van Der Meer, and I started One Act of Kindness to bring light into the darkest moments — not just once, but every single day.

Thanks to the incredible support of kind-hearted people, this small initiative has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. Out of compassion, our reach has expanded — and we’ve helped so many people who would otherwise be left unseen. We’ve witnessed how deep the need runs. But our passion keeps us going, because for so many, we’re the only ones looking out for them.

Based in Randburg, Johannesburg, our team of 4 fieldworkers and 12 nursery school staff shows up daily with full hearts and hands-on support.

We do what we can with what we have — and we receive no government support. Every act of help is powered by the kindness of people like you.
