Keep the Lights On at Baby Therapy Centre

Every month, Baby Therapy Centre receives a municipal bill.

It is not glamorous. It does not photograph well. But it is the single most important invoice we receive, because without it, nothing else happens.

The bill covers electricity for our therapy rooms and heating that keeps children with special needs warm in winter. It covers water for the hygiene protocols. It covers municipal rates and refuse removal. It also covers our landline and internet so we can communicate with the parents.

Together, these costs are R18,510 every single month - without interruption and without negotiation.

If electricity is cut, therapy rooms go dark and equipment stops. If water is suspended, we cannot maintain the hygiene that protects our most vulnerable children. If rates fall into arrears, we face the real possibility of not being able to operate.
