Keep Vida Singing

Dreams begin with talent, but they become reality through opportunity.

My daughter, Vida van Rensburg, has proudly qualified through the Gauteng Provincial Competition to compete at the South Africa Championships of Performing Arts (SACOPA) National Finals during the September/October school holidays.

Qualifying for the National Finals is an incredible achievement and reflects months of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. Singing is far more than a hobby for Vida—it is her passion, her safe place, and a dream she has worked tirelessly to pursue.

For Vida, music is deeply personal.

She says:

"I sing because it's one of the few places where I feel truly free to be myself. Music gives a voice to the emotions I can't always explain. I also play the guitar, piano, and drums, and each instrument helps me express myself in a different way.
