Keeping-the-lights-and-warmth On: Mandela Day Support for FOND Foundation aand Reatlegile Disability Centre 

This Mandela Day, we honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy of service, dignity, and inclusion by supporting children and families living with neurodevelopmental conditions in the North West.

The Family of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (FOND) Foundation in Mahikeng works to reduce stigma, promote early intervention, and foster inclusion through awareness events, parent programmes, advocacy, and community outreach. FOND also provides vital psychosocial guidance to students at Tholo Residence (North West University).

Reatlegile Disability Centre in Tsetse Village urgently needs help. Many learners from vulnerable families come unprepared for the cold North West winter and face daily hardships. Classrooms lack warmth, children need proper clothing, nutrition, and the centre requires basic essentials.
