Two para surfers from Khayelitsha, Raemondo and Noluthando, have earned the incredible opportunity to represent South Africa at the 2025 World Para Surfing Championships in Oceanside, California. Coming from Khayelitsha, a community where opportunities are scarce and challenges are real, this chance to compete on the world stage is life-changing. But dreams like this don’t come easily. Travel, accommodation, gear, chaperone support and competition costs add up, and without support, these two talented athletes won’t be able to take their rightful place among the world’s best.
