Climbing for Compassion: My Kilimanjaro Journey

My name is Veenay Mungal, and in July 2026 I will summit Mount Kilimanjaro as part of the Driving Compassion campaign.   Every step I take will help fund the replacement of old and tired vehicles and in turn will become a step towards veterinary care for animals in underserved communities, community outreach and humane education in early childhood development.  

I believe true leadership is measured not by titles, but by how far we go to uplift others—human or animal. This climb is more than a personal challenge; it’s my commitment to ensuring no animal’s suffering goes unseen or unanswered.

As a long‑time supporter of the Society for Animals in Distress (SAID), I know their mobile veterinary vehicles are lifelines for animals who would otherwise suffer in silence. My climb represents a simple truth: when purpose meets endurance, mountains move.
