Kobus Drodskie

On 11 July 2026, our lives changed in an instant.

Kobus Drodskie  was involved in a devastating accident at home that caused a catastrophic injury to his right wrist and hand. The injury was so severe that he suffered extensive damage to multiple muscles, tendons, an artery and his wrist joint. He also sustained a fracture and underwent emergency surgery lasting several hours in an effort to save the use of his hand.

Thanks to the incredible work of the surgical team, Kobus's hand and fingers were saved. However, this is only the beginning of a very long and difficult recovery. He now faces months of healing, rehabilitation and physiotherapy, and will be unable to return to work for the foreseeable future.

Because this was an accident at home, none of this was expected. Without medical aid it's creating an overwhelming financial burden on our family during an already traumatic time.

Anyone who knows Kobus knows the kind of person he is. He is hardworking, selfless and always willing to help others without expecting anything in return....
