Lacing Up for CHOC

On the 14th of June, I will be running my very first Comrades Marathon — the Ultimate Human Race. Coming from a running family, many people know this journey has always been close to home, but I never imagined I would one day lace up for Comrades myself. Today, I’m running for something bigger than me. Every cent raised through my BackaBuddy campaign will be donated to the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC), whose incredible work continues to inspire me daily. I want to run this race for every child who is not able to do so. When the road gets tough and every step begins to hurt, I will remind myself of the incredible bravely of every child fighting cancer every single day. Their courage, resilience, and determination to keep fighting will inspire me to keep moving forward and carry me through every kilometre of this journey. With only 16 days left to raise funds, every donation — no matter how small — can help make a real difference. Help me reach my goal of R85 777 and turn every kilometre into hope for someone else.
