Hi, my name is Lamangwe Vezi. I have been selected to represent South Africa as a Federation of International Touch (FIT) official at the World Cup, taking place in Nottingham, England, from the 15th to the 21st of July 2024.
I became involved in Touch Rugby in 2010. Fourteen years later, I continue to be passionate about this sport and have represented the KZN Touch Sharks as a junior, the Eastern Touch Association (ETA) as a senior, and the South African Touch Association (SATA) as a referee at junior and senior interprovincial tournaments since 2017.
I had long aspired to represent the country at a World Cup, therefore I am incredibly appreciative of the chance. It has already been a pleasure to be able to accomplish the initial steps of this goal by making the national team....
