She has qualified for Senior Protea colours and has been selected to represent South Africa at the UIPM Laser Run World Championships in Funchal, Portugal, taking place from 26 October to 1 November 2026.
Lané's Laser Run journey began in 2018. Since then she has trained with dedication, taking part in leagues and championships year after year. Her greatest dream has always been to earn Senior Protea colours and represent her country on the world stage.
Through hard work, perseverance and sacrifice, that dream is now a reality. In 2026, Lané is the only woman in South Africa to have achieved the qualifying time for Senior Protea colours in Laser...
