Help Me Stay Afloat During My Health Crisis

Hi everyone,

My name is Lance Bailie, I’m a 36 year old hairdresser based in Bloemfontein, and I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope and a humble request for support. Life has recently thrown me a difficult curveball — one that has left me struggling to keep both my health, finances, and hairdressing business afloat.

I’m currently facing serious medical challenges in which I require hip replacement surgery. Unfortunately, my medical aid does not cover all the necessary treatments and related expenses due to ‘not meeting certain criteria’. I’ve also recently (purely by grace) been diagnosed with epilepsy due to bleeding on the brain while I was in hospital for my hip problems. Between medical bills and everyday responsibilities, I’m finding it increasingly difficult to manage the costs on my own and provide for those who rely on me.
