Laura Kelly and her husband, Tom, are both dedicated and experienced teachers. Laura has 13 years teaching experience and has taught mainly Engineering Graphics and Design, Technology and Robotics. Tom has nearly 30 years experience teaching mainly English and History. They reside in Newcastle, KNZ, South Africa.
About 2 and a half years ago I (Laura) began experiencing discomfort and pain in my right foot which got progressively worse with time. Being a teacher, I am on my feet all day. This made my daily duties - and even walking - more difficult to do as the pain intensified. Numerous visits to my doctor, physiotherapist an a podiatrist gave no resolution or relief from the pain. I finally sought out the help of an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery in Pretoria, South Africa - which is a 700km round trip from my hometown,
I was informed that the bones in the arch of my foot had crumbled away, the tendons on one side were ruptured and I would need urgent surg...
