In Loving Memory of Laverne Adams 16/06/1986 - 05/10/2021

Family, friends and anonymous donors, it is with great sadness that I inform you that Laverne passed away at 13h05 on 05/10/2021. She was laid to rest on 09/10/2021 and her campaign for assistance came to an end.

I would like to thank each and every donor, for their valuable contribution to her campaign. I cannot express how much of a difference it made to her independence, to be able to swipe her card for the shortfall on her medical bills, it was huge!

She fought a good fight and made so many special friends along the way. She reached out to people via her Facebook blog, her interview with the Northglen news and her studio chats with the Fan Zone. She loved people and her family was her priority.

On the Sunday before her bad turn, she said "daddy I'm tired". We believe that she was letting him know that she couldn't go on for much longer. He was her inspiration and she didn't want to let him down. She didn't, because she fought so gallantly and always gave of her best. Her mother and father, her sister, her...
