Help Leah Continue to Hear – A Second Cochlear Implant Journey
Dear Friends and Family
We are the grateful parents of our precious little girl, Leah Strydom — a joyful, determined, and incredibly brave child who has already overcome so much in her short life.
Thanks to the generosity, prayers, and support of so many, Leah received her first cochlear implant on 25 September 2025. This single act of kindness has truly changed her life. Since receiving her implant, Leah has blossomed — she loves dancing and singing, enjoys music with her whole heart, and fills our home with laughter. True to her strong personality, she also randomly picks fights with just about everyone, reminding us daily that she is full of life, confidence, and spirit.
We will never be able to fully express our gratitude for how this support opened a world of sound and joy for her.
