I'm Shanay, and I'm reaching out during a challenging time for my family. On January 1st, 2024, my mom Leigh suffered a stroke around 1:30 in the morning. It took nearly two days, but she's now admitted to the hospital. The medical professionals are optimistic about her recovery, but it's anticipated that she'll need physical therapy to address the damage on the right side of her body.

This unforeseen circumstance has placed a significant financial burden on us. My mom was the sole provider for my frail grandmother, my 11-month-old son, and me. With her unable to work, we're left with only the limited savings I managed to set aside, and those funds are quickly depleting as the necessary treatments and surgery begin.
