In the heart of Southern Africa lies a kingdom most of the world has never truly seen. Lesotho, the Mountain Kingdom, is a nation of horsemen and herdsmen who have defied gravity and history for centuries, preserving their culture amidst some of the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth. We are Mamphego Phasha Studios, a production company dedicated to telling powerful African stories. Our six-part documentary series "Lesotho: Kingdom in the Sky" will take viewers on an immersive journey through this hidden kingdom, from the dizzying heights of Sani Pass to the depths of diamond mines, exploring ancient traditions and modern challenges.
