Let’s help Phoebe

My name is Caylin Petersen and I am fundraising for my sister, Phoebe Petersen also known as Simone a 17 year old teenager from Brentwood Park Blue Downs, who is courageously fighting for her life.

Phoebe has had severe headaches since last year August 2025 and was diagnosed with anxiety. In January 2026 blood test were done and she was diagnosed with low iron sufficiency anemia and low B12 sufficiency. Her right arm and hand started to tremble severely and we thought it was due to the low iron. It resulted in her not being able to write at school.

On the 19th of May 2026 Phoebe went for an MRI scan and it was discovered she has a brain tumour slow growth. It’s positioned behind her left eye and is moving the left side of her brain more to the right hence the trembling in her hand and arm. The balance of her legs is also being affected. We found a neurosurgeon Dr Hanno Vivier who is willing to do the surgery as the tumor needs to be removed as soon as possible between 1 June 2026-30 June 2026.
