We are all still in shock after hearing that Giovanni's (Cucina di Giovanni) tragically burned down in a fire on 20 December 2025 at Laborie Estate, Paarl. Everyone that ever had the privilege to eat there knows that it is more than a restaurant, it was the place friends and families met. Stelios, Anthony and their amazing staff instantly made you feel like part of the family. You arrive as a client and you leave as a friend. Paarl has certainly lost a piece of its soul. Stelios and Anthony we stand behind you and your 48 x staff members that have all lost their source of income. We know that Giovanni's will rise from the ashes and that it will be better than before. I know that Stelios, Anthony and their staff will really appreciate all your support, no matter how big or small.
