Let's Keep Troy in School!

Hello! My name is Jude. I’m a twenty-three year old media postgraduate student based in Cape Town, South Africa. I’m starting this back-a-buddy for my little brother, Troy, who is sixteen. Troy is coming to live with me from Johannesburg after our mother’s ongoing and largely untreated schizophrenia has led to a situation where Troy’s scholarship has been revoked, and his suspension is impending due to the non-payment of school fees.

I want to humbly ask for your help in making sure I can pay Troy’s school fees as he starts at a new school in Cape Town, as well as pay the debt to his previous school in Johannesburg. The priority for us right now is to make sure he continues his schooling.

I am a university student living off of a combination of a scholarship to complete my honours studies, as well as a stipend from my work as a research assistant.
