Let’s Rally Behind Our Colleague and Friend, Tod 🐾
Tod, a highly respected veterinarian and recent recipient of the SAVA President’s Award, is currently facing stage 4 cancer with remarkable courage and dignity. Throughout his career, he has given so much to our profession—supporting colleagues, caring for countless animals, and contributing meaningfully to the veterinary community in South Africa.

Tragically, during this already difficult time, Tod fell victim to telephone fraud. He lost his entire savings as well as a gap cover payout, leaving him with significant debt and no financial safety net when he needs it most.
Tod has always been there for others. Now, it’s our turn to stand by him.
