Young Petie van der Walt from Meyerton in the Vaal Triangle was only 5 years old when he started amateur wresting. He amazed everyone by excelling in this sport at a tender young age.
He competed at a National level at the South African Championships at only 8 years old. He has since done exceptionally well in this sport competing Nationally yearly.
Petie obtained his Springbok colors and competed on African and World Championships.
This April he has the amazing opportunity to compete in Morocco in the Moroccon African Wrestling Championships. To make this dream a reality, comes with a lot of expenses.
