Our daughter was born with amniotic band syndrome
On the 16th of Oct 2022 our beautiful girl Liahkim Chadé Fortuin was born. She was born at 7 months and stayed in hospital for 2 months.
Due to bands restricting her right limb and fingers mainly, her right foot had a blood restriction and fell off 2 weeks into birth.
Our main goal for our daughter is to have access to facilities and resources such as a prosthetic foot in years to come so that she may live the life of a normal kid. Being able to walk and just be herself.
