Liam :)
- Was diagnosed in 2022 at the age of 11 with, Auto Immune Ulceric Colitis (UC), Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC).
- PSC is a rare cross over auto immune condition which leads to sclerosing of the liver. Unfortunately, this is an incurable disease with very few options.
- His condition has deteriorated faster than expected and he now suffers from, UC, PSC, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Auto Immune Hepatitis and Jaundice.
- He is now on the list for a liver transplant, the only option to save his life.
What does this mean?
- Liam is unable to attend traditional school.
- He had to give up all his sports and hobbies. Can't walk or run. He is in constant pain.
- Has no immunity against airborne viruses so he needs to always wear a mask and use sanitizer (COVID rerun).
- Can't eat gluten, meat, eggs, dairy or processed food.
