Liam Won’t Walk Alone

The Underberg community has always shown up when it matters most - and right now, we’re rallying together to support Simon Vickers and his family during an incredibly difficult time. For those who know Simon Vickers, you will know this: he is always the first to show up for others. Simon is a man who has dedicated his life to helping others through lifesaving and mountain rescue. And now it is his own son he needs to help.

On Saturday 2nd May, Simon's 20 year old son, Liam, who is living in the UK, had his life change in an instant. He was involved in a tragic accident involving a forklift which devastatingly led to the amputation of his left leg above the knee.

With Liam’s entire family based in South Africa; Simon, Leigh, and his mom Dee will be travelling back and forth to support him through this journey. The funds raised will go towards covering the cost of international travel, accommodation in the UK, and helping ease the financial strain on the family while their business is impacted by these ongoing commitments.
