Lift a child, Change a future

Hi I’m Sienna Fry, a grade 12 student at Kingsmead College.

During my Gold President’s Award trip to the Drakensberg, I visited the Rise Upliftment Community — and it completely changed my perspective.

I’ve always had access to a good education. It’s something I never had to think twice about. But for the children at Rise, that opportunity isn’t guaranteed.

What really stayed with me was their determination. Despite having so little, they show up every day eager to learn and build a better future.

I knew I couldn’t just walk away.

So I’ve set a goal to raise R200,000 to support Rise and help give these children a real chance.

This funding will go directly towards:
📚 Books and learning materials
🍎 Daily meals
👩‍🏫 Teacher support
🚌 Safe transport to school — so they don’t have to walk long distances
