My name is Mia, founder of Mia’s Beauty Studio – an online hair store built by a Black woman, for women, from the ground up in Cape Town.

This journey started small. Late nights researching suppliers under one light. Saving every rand to buy my first stock samples. Crying some evenings when orders were slow or a bundle didn't meet my standards. But I kept going because I know good hair restores confidence, dignity, and joy.

I’ll never forget my first customer who messaged, “Mia, this wig makes me feel like a queen for the first time.” Or the working mom who ordered bundles and later said, “You gave me back my spark – I feel beautiful again.” These messages remind me that quality hair isn’t just a product – it’s healing and empowerment.

At Mia’s Beauty Studio, I curate premium virgin human hair – hand-selected bundles, closures, frontals, and wigs in natural textures like body wave and curly.
