My name is Lisakhanya Majola, and at the age of 14, I embarked on a rugby journey with nothing more than a dream, an unwavering desire to become the very best version of myself. What began as a newfound passion has since evolved into a pursuit defined by discipline, sacrifice, and relentless determination.
Today, I am honoured to have been selected for the Sharks Reitz Week squad and even more grateful to have been presented with the incredible opportunity to tour to Dubai for the prestigious Dubai 7s Tournament this November . For someone who only started playing rugby at 14, this opportunity is a testament to the power of hard work, faith, and commitment to a goal.
The Dubai 7s tour represents far more than rugby. It is an opportunity to compete on an international stage, embrace new experiences, and proudly represent my school, community, and everyone who has supported my journey. It is a chance to continue growing as both an athlete and a young man while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
