🌸 Meet Melushke — Our Little Miracle Warrior 🌸

Melushke is a bright, beautiful, and courageous 7-year-old girl with a smile that lights up every room. Born on 18 July 2018, her journey began with devastating news — she was born with brain damage, and we were told to prepare for the worst.

Doctors believed she would be a “bed baby,” unable to sit, crawl, walk, play, speak, or eat independently. Her first year of life was spent in and out of NICU and PICU, and at just two months old she required a feeding tube, later converted to a Mickey button.

But Melushke had other plans.

Just before her third birthday, her feeding tube was removed, and today she eats independently and enthusiastically. Against all expectations, she now walks, runs, plays, laughs, and fills our lives with joy. Recent brain scans have shown that parts of her brain have adapted, with healthy areas taking over functions that were previously impaired. Although two lobes at the back of her brain are still developing more slowly, her progress continues to amaze us.
