Support Liz’s Ongoing Cancer Treatment

This is not easy for us to write…

For the last 12 years, Liz has been living with cancer. Many people know her as the person who shows up for others through cancer support work, community fundraising, and simply being there when someone needs a hand to hold or a supportive ear to listen. Right now, she needs help herself.

Liz was first diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s B-cell Lymphoma at the age of 16. She went through 10 cycles of aggressive chemotherapy and survived.

Seventeen years later, at the age of 33, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her son, Grayson, was only 14 months old at the time. She underwent a mastectomy, reconstruction, and six cycles of chemotherapy and once again, she survived.

In 2017, the cancer returned. This time it had spread to her liver. Liz was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, a condition that cannot be cured, only managed. Since then, it has also spread to her scapula and spine.
