Lize-Mari's Eye Surgery

Hello dearest friends and family, my name is Quinette and I am raising funds for my sister, Lize-Mari to have a surgery done called Pars Plana Vitrectomy (PPV). 

Lize-Mari is a 31-year-old loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend and teacher. She has been Type-1 diabetic since 2010, as you might know diabetics face numerous challenges with their health overall, due to their sugar levels that can be inconsistent at times. 

Lize-Mari's sight started being a problem since last year, 2023 around the month of December, where she experienced bleeding in the right eye, since then she has completely lost clear sight in this eye.

In May 2024 she saw small spots of blood in her left eye and immediately went to the Optometrist, who then referred her to the Ophthalmologist, Dr. Malherbe. There was definite bleeding in her left eye and Dr. Malherbe suggested that they d...
