Luandro’s Medical Journey – Our Brave Little Fighter’s Path to Healing.

Since December 6, 2024, Luandro has been walking a path of intense suffering, but also of incredible courage and determination. What began as a single hospital admission due to breathing problems quickly developed into a monthly battle with chronic lung infections.

He was admitted every month – each time with life-threateningly low oxygen levels. As his parents waited and wished for just one thing with each admission: that he would be able to breathe normally again. His body picked up lung viruses again and again, and each infection only left him weaker and more tired.

On February 10, 2025, Luandro was admitted seriously ill again. Blood tests confirmed that he had contracted four lung viruses at once: RSV, Parainfluenza, Rhino and Adenovirus. Barely a month later, on March 9, they had to rush him to the hospital again with the same symptoms – a severe lung infection and oxygen levels that were dropping dangerously.
