Help Luke Take His Next Big Step in STEM!
That's right. His name is on the Stanford University STEM Fellowship acceptance list.
One of only 200 students in the world chosen. The kind of once-in-a-lifetime, CV-defining, future-shaping, "I got into Stanford before I even finished school" moment. And he earned it.
But here's the twist: at R 17 000.00 it landed at the worst possible financial time for us.
Stanford will cover $350.00 as a scholarship, we are responsible for the balance.
And while Luke's been pulling 2AMs to prepare for it, I've been staring at numbers, trying to make them stretch where they just can't.
So now I turn to you-his uncles, aunts, godparents, cousins, friends, colleagues, neighbours, WhatsApp
group lurkers, and general legends of the community.
If he misses this, I will absolutely remind you at every braai for the next 20 years.
