Hello, I am Madeleine's husband.
My wife has been suffering from reflux for months, causing her to vomit everything she consumes, including her medication, resulting in significant weight loss. She underwent surgery to correct a kink in her intestine and was in the process of recovering. Unfortunately, during her recovery, she had a fall, which resulted in severe pain and limited mobility.
Currently, she is in the ICU, and it has become evident that she urgently requires a hip replacement. Regrettably, our medical aid does not cover this procedure. We are both pensioners in our 70s and are reaching out for assistance to cover the estimated cost of R135,000 for the hip replacement.
