My name is Makenna Jane, I am 8 years old and hoping you can help me reach my dancing dreams.
Dancing is not just a hobby for me, it is my passion and my dream. From a very young age, I have been drawn to the rhythm and movement of music, and it has always been my instinct to dance whenever I hear a beat.
In 2023, I entered a dance competition called Talent Africa with my best friend, and we were thrilled to not only receive our KZN colors but also make it through to compete for Nationals. It was an incredible achievement to win a gold medal at Nationals, earning the opportunity to represent my beloved country, South Africa, on an international stage in New York City in June 2024.
However, with this dream comes a great financial burden, as I am still young and my mom needs to accompany me on this journey. I am reaching out to you for support because I truly believe that with your help, I can make my dream a reality.
