Making Happy Happy

In a world gripped by the challenges of COVID-19, many have faced separation from their loved ones. One such individual is Chimwemwe, or as we call him, Happy. A dedicated and hardworking member of our community and now our family.

Happy hails from Blantyre in Malawi, where his heart resides with his wife and two children. However, due to the economic hardships exacerbated by the politics in his country, he made the difficult decision to seek work in South Africa to provide a better future for his family. Little did he know, the global crisis would prolong his separation from his loved ones.

Despite his remarkable skills and unwavering work ethic, Happy has faced numerous hurdles in securing stable employment in South Africa. For the past two years, he has been graciously working odd jobs with us, becoming an integral part of our business and embodying the spirit of resilience and determination.
