I am reaching out with a mix of vulnerability and determination, sharing a deeply personal journey that has unfolded over the past year. In November of last year, I experienced a heart-wrenching loss as my beloved father passed away. Just days after his funeral, my world was once again turned upside down when I found myself hospitalized with a swollen, blue leg - a sudden and alarming indication of severe thrombosis.

 

Months of uncertainty, medical tests, and profound concern followed. Finally, on the 1st of August, the mystery was unveiled, and I was diagnosed with May-Thurner Syndrome. This condition has impacted my ability to lead a normal life as a young adult, and the path to recovery necessitates a critical surgical intervention to repair my veins and insert stents, ensuring that I can reclaim the vitality that should be the birthright of every young person.
