Dear All,
PLEASE REFER TO THE “UPDATE” SECTION FOR THE LATEST ON MY JOURNEY.
I would like to take a moment to update you on my health journey so far.
First and foremost, we want to say a BIG THANK YOU for every donation, prayer, phone call, message and visit. Thank you for believing on our behalf when we were scared and unsure, for keeping the faith, and for genuinely caring. This experience has left me incredibly humbled and deeply grateful.
We received donations from far and wide—some anonymous, some from long-lost friends, others from close loved ones, and even from total strangers. You have truly restored our faith in humanity. To God be all the glory.
My first operation was scheduled for Friday, 11 July 2025, with the plan to stay in hospital for just 5 days. We were required to pay R130,000 upfront to the hospital, which we could do thanks to the generous support from this campaign.
Unfortunately, due to complications, I had to undergo a second operation on Friday, 18 July 2025....
