Mario Bezuidenhout’s entire life changed irreparably / irrevocably in July 2023

Mario was preparing to open his own restaurant in the Groblersdal area. Friday evening 21 July 2023 he was busy setting up and getting a few last minute things sorted. At around 8pm that evening he left the venue to drive to his sisters to have super. On leaving the restaurant that night Mario a truck veered into his lane approximately 200m from the restaurant resulting in a head on collision.

Mario’s injuries were terrible/ dreadful…

Mario sustained the following injuries as a result of the collision, he broke his right legs femur, he broke both his arms, his jaw and cheekbone. He suffered broken ribs on the left side and a collapsed lung. In addition to these injuries he also sustained bleeding on his brain. The accident also caused resulted in a traumatic brain injury.
To aid him during his recover a “peg” was inserted for feeding and a trachea for breathing.
